  • Name Eliza DICKENS  [1
    Gender Female
Notes for biography Eliza and her husband Frederick Lee lived with their four children in a large rambling home on a big block of land at the Western end of Autumn Street, Herne Hill, where they ran a dairy.
Gertrude and Gladys, their two daughters were around the same age as the Renshaw children so the Renshaws would sometimes be allowed to visit them and stay overnight. They loved their visits there as the house was not only very large and two storied, but had an attic with a balcony on top of the second story. In one of the rooms in a glass case was a large, beautifully dressed china doll.
Eliza and the girls were excellent cooks and were fond of entertaining, so they had many happy parties in their home.  [2
